Our Staff

Lisa Ewers earned her Bachelor’s degree in music from Pfeiffer College. Over the past 30 years, she has sung in the Chorale and served on the board.  Lisa has also served as assistant director and interim artistic director for One Voice Chorus of Charlotte.  Lisa currently directs music at Epworth UMC in Concord and has directed music for New London UMC in the past.  She also plays in the Stanly County Concert Band and serves on the board of The Uwharrie Players.  She is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as musical director for the Stanly County Chorale!

Returning to accompany the Chorale will be Zoey Brouthers. She holds a BA degree in Piano Performance from Appalachian State University and a MA degree in Music Theory from Bowling Green State University. Zoey previously taught Music Theory and Musicianship at Pfeiffer University. She currently resides in Cary, NC, where she teaches private piano lessons.
